Students from Šarūnas Jasikevičius in their square 90: 100 (22:32, 29:19, 19:19, 20:30) recognized the advantage of the Valencia basketball players (5-6).

This was the second consecutive failure for Barça: last week the Catalans of the Euroleague landed at the ASVEL club in Vilerban.

Before the decisive quarter, the result was the same (70:70), but the guests started the last leg of the match with a 15: 2 streak and took control of the duel.

However, the Catalans were able to return to the game and, a minute and a half before playing, Alex Abrines reduced his team’s advantage by three points to 82 points – 82:88.

The fate of the match was decided in two subsequent episodes: Bojanas Dubljevičius made two free throws and later, after an inaccurate shot by Abrines, Jasikevičius received a technical foul and the guests regained a double-digit lead: 92:82.

The winners were led by a tandem of Boyan Dubljevic and Derrick Williams. The Montenegrin scored 24 points (6/8 doubles, 2/2 trit., 6/7 penalty) in 25 minutes, bounced 6 balls, made 6 assists and scored 33 utility points.

Having played the best game of his short career in Valencia, Williams scored 25 points (5/5 doubles, 3/4 trit., 6/11 penalties) in 29 minutes and scored 26 utility points.

On Friday at 8 p.m., Barcelona will meet the local Žalgiris in Kaunas.

Barcelona: Nikola Mirotichi 20 (9th rec.), Nick Calathes 17, Pierre Oriola 13, Adam Hanga 11.

Valencia: Derrick Williams 25 (5/5, 6/11, 26 assists), Boyan Dubljevičius 24 (6/8, 6 assists, 33 assists), Sam Van Rossom 13 (7/7 penalty, 21 benefit points), Mike Tobey 12.
