One of the biggest surprises was registered in the Euroleague for the 2020-2021 season.

Leading Wilerban ASVEL from the first minutes (2-7) 80:68 (25:19, 20:17, 20:17, 15:15) managed Barcelona (8-2), which lost 7 straight games in the Euroleague.
It was ASVEL’s first home win against Club de Catalunya since 1996.
The TJ Parker students had a double-digit lead at the beginning of the second quarter (33:23), and midway through the third quarter their lead increased to 16 points – 65:49.
At the start of the deciding quarter, the students of Šarūnas Jasikevičius managed to reduce the lag to 10 points (55:65), but the hosts of the rivals, who were closer to them, did not give in and confidently marched towards victory.

Next week, Barcelona will visit Kaunas, where they will face local Žalgiris (5-6).
