On Thursday, around 8:20 p.m., in the Panevėžys district, Nausodė village, at the intersection, a BMW car driven by a man (born 1989) was obstructed by a Volvo car.
After the accident, two unidentified men got out of the Volvo car, breaking the windows in the front door of the car, one of the men violently hit a BMW driver, who was handed over to a doctor.
Tadas Martinaitis Delfi, chief specialist of the communication group of the Panevėžys County Main Police Station, reported that the suspects have not yet been arrested, they have fled the scene. Officials explain the circumstances of the incident.
After the unexpected attack, the BMW driver called for help, and not only the officers but also the medics arrived at the scene immediately. The man suffered serious eye injuries and was taken to the Kaunas Clinical Hospital.
According to preliminary data, the victim does not know the people who attacked him, but during the interview he provided certain details that will help to find the suspects. The disaster itself is not from Panevėžys County, the man, according to police, is a resident of Šiauliai County.
