“Perhaps, I really believe that these measures can be taken without waiting for the change of government, especially since it would probably take another week,” the minister told LRT radio on Friday.

According to him, so far the situation is not going as it would like, but the ministry will have a complete overview of this week and all the figures next Tuesday, then the need for concrete measures can be considered.

“We will wait for this week’s number for everyone, they usually arrive around Tuesday, we see a real picture of the whole week. “Right before the government meeting, we will see the full picture this week of what happened, what happened, and then the government is likely to decide whether or not additional measures are needed,” Veryga said.

According to him, no additional measures will be needed if the situation stabilizes. However, the minister says he is concerned about the upcoming Christmas season, as the experience of the late weekend shows that people are reluctant to follow the recommendations. Therefore, you are skeptical that the recommendations alone are enough to handle the situation.
