Last week, the Seimas approved Jurgis Razmas, a member of the TS-LKD faction, as the first vice president of the Seimas.

The politician said he would support any decision made by Seimas president Viktorija Čmilytė – Nielsen.
“We certainly have no objections to the presentation, if the president of the Seimas decides to nominate A. Norkienė, we support him. On Monday, the president of the Seimas Viktorija Čmilytė – Nielsen proposed to nominate another candidate for the “peasants”, since the candidacy of A. Norkienė cannot collect votes.
The Seimas plans to decide on the deputies of the Seimas president on Tuesday.
The conservative Jurgis Razma was already elected vice president of the Seimas last Friday, he is the first deputy, and Andrius Mazuronis, representative of the Labor Party, has been elected from the opposition.
