Mr. Žukauskas appealed the decision to dismiss him and the conclusion that he had humiliated the official’s name.
One case concerned a complaint against a decision by the Police Department to deprive him of the right to work with classified information and to fire him. At the request of Mr. Žukauskas, the case was examined in closed sessions.
He was fired on February 26 of this year for losing the right to work with classified information.
The Police Department stated that during the inspection it was established that D. Žukauskas’s personal qualities, behavior and relationships with certain persons raise reasonable doubts about their trustworthiness.
In another case, he has appealed the decisions on the assessment of his performance in Tenerife.
The court is asked to overturn the decision of the Police Department Immunity Board and the order of the Commissioner General to demote the officer.
