“Today we are happy with the house of our dreams,” says Vaida, who shared the interior of his new home and the secrets of the renovation.
“The house was not new, we wanted to install the canvas that we could work with the way we wanted, rather than having everything already laid out. The most important job was installing the attic.
Just looking at this house, we already knew what we wanted to change and how. A dream room was born from a practically unused attic / storage room!
One side of the attic became a study, the other my wardrobe and a beautiful feminine work corner. We also changed the entire house floor to white and completely remodeled the kitchen. At the moment, the only thing left to renovate was the bathroom, but we postponed this transformation for a while, ”says the interlocutor.

– Did you create the interior yourself?
– Yes, we create everything in this house ourselves. As I am passionate about fashion and interior design, I chose the same range of colors, furniture and various details. Of course, I still want to change a lot, because we brought some furniture from the old house, but all over time. As I work hard at the moment, the interior affairs slow down a bit.
– What interior style do you have in your heart? How do you choose items, furniture, interior details?
– I adore the bright colors in the interior, so it was not for nothing that I chose to put a white floor throughout the house, so the living space was instantly illuminated.
At the moment I have bamboo products in my heart, especially like bamboo pots. I also love the French style, especially French beds. Over time, I want to update the bedroom furniture and integrate a bit of French flair.

– What advice would you give to certain cardinal changes in the house? Do you always need high costs?
– I’m always in favor of home changes! While the renovation process itself can be really frustrating, it’s definitely worth it.
My most important advice is to plan your time. If you have agreed with the workers that the deadline for finishing work is, for example, the end of the month, stay at least one more week. We had to “live” with the workers for at least a week or even two, because they took much longer than planned and we already had to leave another house.

I would also recommend planning your interior in advance so you don’t get attacked by the obsession of buying beautiful things that don’t work together. Believe me I know how you want to buy everything when you buy your house. A serious renovation costs a lot, especially when hiring workers, but with a small budget, you can change your home boldly just by choosing certain details.
Since we decided to put off the bathroom renovation, I decided to renovate this room for a while on a tight budget: I just put in special adhesive tiles, replaced details like the soap dish, the toilet paper holder, the shower curtains, and the difference is huge! It cost no more than £ 60-70. By the way, in the future I have plans to expand and help others to plan the interior.
