Just past the room where his wife lay, Stefano set up a chair by the windows, sat down, and serenaded his wife on an accordion. And not one.

Carla Sacchi, 47, from the husband, heard a veritable variety of love songs through the hospital’s second-floor window.

This romantic moment was filmed by the couple’s son, Maurizio. He also shared the video online, which later attracted a lot of interest from internet users.

In a red sweater, dark pants, a hat with a feather and a mask, S. Bozzini enthusiastically played the accordion, occasionally stomping on his feet or greeting his wife. Meanwhile, his beloved and two other friends from his neighborhood, wearing face masks, saw everything from above.

In the background video, you can hear the Italian words “bravo” and “how beautiful this man is doing a serenade for his wife lying on his logon”.

According to the Italian news agency ANSA, S. Bozzini is retired, a member of the Alpine Infantry of the Italian Army, and the hat he wears in the video is part of his uniform.

According to the agency, his division S. Bozzini called it “Gianni Morandi de los Alpes” because he always played the accordion. The couple is said to have married in 1973.

This Italian hospital does not treat patients with coronavirus, but due to the increase in infections in hospitals, it was decided not to allow visits.
