According to Kaunas County Police, a man born in 1993 and an accomplice born in 1982 had previously been convicted of similar crimes in the city of Ežerėlis on Monday.
The two men are suspected of hitting the doors and windows of a house in the town of Dievogala last Friday and entering after introducing themselves to acquaintances. They demanded money from the two men in the house through threats, but without receiving them they stole three lawnmowers worth about 540 euros.
A man born on Sunday 1993 entered the house of a woman living in Ežerėlis through a window and kidnapped 240 euros under threat.
The Kėdainiai Palace of the Kaunas District Court announced on Wednesday that RR, who was born in 1993 and was a suspect in two robberies, could be arrested for two months.
The court noted that the man had been previously convicted seven times and the new crimes were suspected to have been committed before the sentence was lifted.
It is also alleged that the arrested police suspect escaped from the official car and was again found only with the help of cynologists.
