“It is a great pleasure to come back to Lithuania. I have just finished my hard work abroad, I had to self-quarantine for two weeks, but I guessed it. I want to thank the theater community: Lithuania is a very important country for me, in my work, in my life. I still wondered why it is so important for me to re-create in Lithuania. It seems to me that the relationship in Lithuanian theater is long-term. We create, we think about a performance, a play that will have a long life long, we will have a connection with the public, we travel not only abroad, but also to Lithuania, which I often miss abroad, where the performances are created for one or two seasons. I would like to wish it to be kept in Lithuania, It is a very important creative process, ”said Yana Ross when accepting the award.
