According to the adopted modifications, non-compliance or infringement of the Noise Management Law and other legal acts that regulate noise management will result in a fine of 100 to 600 euros (instead of 50 to 300 euros), and repeated infringements will give result in a fine of 500 to 1,000. Failure to comply with the rules for the prevention of noise in public places approved by the municipalities will result in a fine of 150 to 600 euros (instead of 80 to 300 euros), for repeated offenses, from 500 to 1,000. (instead of 300 to 600 euros).
As stated in the explanatory memorandum of the document, such an increase in fines is expected to have a positive impact on the control of noise pollution and the quality of life and recreation of citizens.
