A drunk vodka thief with glasses came out of the supermarket security post

On May 16, at 5.30 pm, in Kėdainiai, J. Basanavičiaus St., security guards arrested a man at the mall who attempted to steal a bottle of vodka. When he was taken to the security post, he not only demanded his release, used uncensored words towards the staff, but also broke the double pane of the security post door and, seizing the opportunity, fled.

Soon at Kėdainiai, Josvainių St., officers arrested a drunk young man (born 1992). He had an average drunkenness of 2.34 avg. A resident of the Radviliškis district was not only punished for stealing a bottle of vodka, according to article 506 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Lithuania. 4, however, a pre-trial investigation was also initiated against him in accordance with article 284 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania, for violation of public order.

A man who has been convicted more than once and punished for various administrative crimes faces public works or a fine, restriction of liberty, arrest or imprisonment for up to two years.

The investigation is organized and led by prosecutors from the Fifth Division of the Kaunas District Prosecutor’s Office of the Kaunas Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
