Two weeks after Julija Žižė’s tears and apologies, her colleagues commented

In October, Julija Žižė announced a “thank you campaign”: a contest for social media followers, where they could win a BMW X3, a breast correction operation and other prizes.

The downside started when it became clear that the racing car was an off-road vehicle previously driven by J.Žižė herself. And after the announcement of the winner, Internet users in general were suspicious about the transparency of the competition rules.

Soon J.Žižė stated that he was withdrawing from social media.. And a few weeks after her public resignation, a press release was circulated with comments from famous people expressing their support for Julia.

Dainius Martinaitis: “The scandal arose for clear but not yet named reasons”

Why was Julia convicted? For being invented? Didn’t you tell the whole truth? And did you have to? Well, there are those who say it would have been fair. Good. And what would change? Considering the “trends” of these times, the “flu craze”, the desire of people to “follow” something, perhaps it would have been better to publicize the car, saying that it was driven and verified by an opinion maker with many fans. After all, to have what “bunkers”, “siegels” or something else has now super.

Did the game happen? Occurred. Was the car donated to the winner? Gifted. Did someone not like the circumstances of the game? It was necessary not to play, because nobody was worth it. Stuck on the rules of the game? Create yours and play.

Were there errors in the organization of the game? Definitely. But they are not fatal.

Why has the game been criticized? Often jealousy. Another reason is to look for another opportunity to advertise.

There were accusations against Julia that she came up with the game to increase the number of followers. Maybe I don’t understand something, but isn’t that what all opinion makers want? The more followers, the more expensive your “post” will be. Is it so? So why was there such a stir?

Gediminas Juodeika: “The abuser is a person who has not found harmony”

We can experience psychological violence everywhere and in all kinds of ways. Generally speaking, psychological abuse turns into violence when the words spoken have the specific and repeated intent to hurt or belittle another person.

In my opinion, what happened in the public space after the beginning, continuation, and end of the car game will be the subject of future psychological, marketing, and many other textbooks or seminars.

Agnė and Nerijus Juška: “It is better to make a mistake by forgiving than to make a mistake by punishing”

There are situations where you don’t want to say anything. Just hug yourself and wish strength.

None of the game’s organizers have been tainted or known for their wicked and questionable activities thus far. Therefore, there seems to be no reason to doubt them. Until he made a mistake. I just made a mistake. But why were they so severely punished? Once we surf the Internet, we find a quote that was created for this particular situation: “It is better to make a mistake by forgiving than by making a mistake.” It is a powerful thought. And very significant. We look at the entire history of the game in the hope that people will become more understanding and compassionate, and those who do good deeds, even when such obstacles arise, will not stop implementing them.

Ieva Zasimauskaitė: “Let’s not forget the fact that criticism and harassment are two different things”

In the beginning, I somehow missed both the contest and everything that was going on because I felt like I didn’t want to go deeper. But afterwards, it was impossible not to notice, because it seemed that almost everything was about that. And I found it very unfortunate that this is happening in public space, that it is seen by both adolescents and adults and it seems normal to them! Judging a person … After all, we all make mistakes in life … And even that wasn’t necessarily a mistake! Who said that?

It seems to me that Julia was just doing her job, after all, advertising and marketing, and this is about how to attract followers, people to buy or use her services. Although I personally wouldn’t have done it and generally have a different opinion on both the commercials and the fans, it was painful for me to watch all the speeches about Julia. Especially after the whole contest and your shared apology. It seems that people were waiting for something to write BLOG, but did anyone think that she has feelings, children, family? That also hurts … that criticism is good, but it has to be constructive. Also, it is a characteristic of an intellectual human being to say criticism personally, because whatever it is, it often hurts and that is perfectly normal.

Criticism is bad for everyone, but let’s not forget the fact that criticism and harassment are two different things. If you look at the comments … there is PURE bullying.
