The club officially announced that all basketball players and coaches on the team were infected with COVID-19. Mikhail Anisimov, 36, also competes for the Ukrainian team.
It is added that the entire team is currently in quarantine and most of the basketball players and coaches are doing well. All of Budivelnik’s matches this week in the Ukrainian league have been postponed.
Chomic, Sergei Gorbenka, Gabe DeVoe and Andrei Kozyakin were reportedly infected with the coronavirus on Thursday night.
Still, repeated investigations have shown that COVID-19 is much more widespread in the Ukrainian club.
