On Sunday, May 17, around 8:30 a.m., while patrolling the central area, Patrol Team officers also checked access to the station’s market.
The watchful eyes of the officers were found behind several garages, some of which were closed, but one was open, and various objects could be seen from afar. Upon closer inspection, officials found as many as 1,480 packages of various cigarettes not marked with the Republic of Lithuania stamps and 82 bottles of various capacities and various types of alcoholic beverages in the trash.
The Kaunas City Center Police Station of the Kaunas County Chief Police Station has begun to clarify the circumstances regarding this event.
