One of ASVEL’s leaders, Norris Cole, had to leave the pitch after a 40-second match in a French league match with the Schole team two weeks ago – Wilerban announced that the result of the player’s test of American basketball had arrived just at that time.
Although there is no official information, the French media wrote that a total of 12 ASVEL members were infected with the coronavirus: seven players and five members of the staff.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Vilerban’s team has played just two games after five rounds of the Euroleague, both losing. Three games in the last two weeks have been postponed to other dates.
