“We need to be positive about politics, there is a benevolent desire to communicate and cooperate. Armonaitė told reporters after the meeting with G. Nausėda.
Speaking about the formation of the Cabinet of Ministers, the leader of the Freedom Party said that, first of all, it is necessary to define common priorities. However, A. Armonaitė emphasized that conservatives will naturally hold the majority of government positions.
“The second thing is that it is natural for people to vote for parties, to give them a mandate that is different in size. Naturally, those who received more votes or support should also have greater representation in the executive. This is a great logic of politics ”, emphasized A. Armonaitė.
ELTA recalls that in the evening from Sunday to Monday, three parties – the Lithuanian Christian National-Democratic Union, the Liberal Movement and the Freedom Party – issued a joint statement on the ongoing debate on the formation of the ruling coalition.
