According to the deputy mayor, he was tested for coronavirus at a mobile point in Vilnius on Tuesday and received a positive response on Wednesday.
“I have a confirmed positive test, the symptoms are very mild. I did the test because on Tuesday I felt that I did not smell good, I had a runny nose, yesterday I felt good. He had a minimum of contacts because he worked remotely, interacting with people in a close environment (…). Most of the contacts are my family, ”E. Tamošiūnaitė told BNS.
She was isolated at home. The deputy mayor says she has mostly worked remotely since Oct. 4 and had only gone to the municipality once to vote in early elections.
“Currently, I organize my work, as always before, remotely,” said E. Tamošiūnaitė.
This is the fourth known case of coronavirus in the municipality. The city of Vilnius is among the municipalities where the coronavirus has spread the fastest recently, but the capital is not yet included in the list of municipalities classified as the most dangerous red zone.
