Panevėžys “Lietkabelis” (1-3) scored the first vital victory in the European Cup.

The drama of the match took place in the last minutes: initially Marinas Maričius tied the score with free throws (73:73), and at the beginning of the penultimate minute Gytis Masiulis put the hosts ahead with three free throws: 76:73.
