The woman says she promised not to interfere in politics anymore, but she couldn’t stand it.
“I promised myself not to interfere in politics, but my blood boiled when I learned that my former Social Democratic Party in the Gargždai constituency was campaigning to vote for Petras Gražulis. The party leaders, Andriukaitis and Paluckas, are willing to sell their souls to the devil so that the conservative Rasa Petrauskienė will not enter the Seimas alone, ”MA Pavilionienė criticized the party members.
She took note of the candidate’s views and explained that such a move by party leaders is just one way to secure support in the Seimas.
The leaders support a person who has spoken out against gender equality and equal opportunities, who has spoken out against the correction of childbirth and sexual education in schools, who has spoken out against the Law of Assisted Reproduction and against same-sex couples, that is, against the human rights of all Lithuanian citizens. The Social Democrats want to ensure support in the Seimas so that the remnants of this party do not collapse, so that only the crumbs of the Social Democrats lose confidence in the government.
MA Pavilionienė treats this on his Facebook account as an obvious party humiliation.
“The obvious betrayal of the party leaders to the ideals of justice of the Social Democrats is also the humiliation of the party.”
LSDP spokesperson Justinas Argustas told tv3.lt that neither G. Paluckas nor VP Andriukaitis supports P. Gražulis.
“It just came to our attention then. What Pavilionienė spread on Facebook are lies and baseless fabrications, it does not provide any facts.
There is only one source that is being manipulated: the advertising publication of Gražulis, where a photo of Andriukaitis is placed and the text of his support for the candidate is made up. This is a fake created by Gražulis and his team.
It is unfortunate that the scientist Pavilionienė takes these sources seriously and draws some general conclusions from them and then disseminates them. On the other hand, it can also be deliberate manipulation ”, commented J. Argustas.
