“It is not fair when we play at home with 400 spectators and Žalgiris with several thousand. That is true, but we must accept it, because injustice is part of the life we are in.
It doesn’t have to be on our minds. We have to see all the possible positives when we play against a crowd of thousands, ”Ponsarnau said at a press conference.
A similar idea was expressed by Istanbul Anadolu Efes strategist Ergin Ataman after last week’s match.
“We play in the same competition, without home advantage, without fans, and some teams play with fans. In some countries the final was not allowed to play in July, when the situation in Europe was clearer. Now that country is allowed to watch the game (I don’t mean Lithuania).
