By 3: 39.36 min. Panevėžys, who sailed the distance, convincingly outscored his opponents and recorded the best result of the new swimming season that had just started.
After a successful performance in the short pool in Budapest, D. Rapšys shared his impressions with his followers on Facebook.
“This is the first international start of this year after the quarantine: 400 ml / s ISL bubble in the well-known ‘Danube’ stadium in Budapest. It was strange to swim this distance after so long. Although I won, I had to feel and understand what that distance meant, how much power did I need and how to distribute it. But the most important thing is that I finally started in the Energy Standard team and scored points. I am so glad to be on this team, she is super friendly. Today I am going to rest after dinner, because tomorrow there is another day of competition and 200 ml / s ”, wrote the Lithuanian swimmer.
D.Rapšys, who is participating in the ISL competition for the first time, will return to the group on Saturday, and in Budapest he will have three more ISL stages on 2-3, 9-10 and 14-15 November.
