To the industrial territory of the former scythe factory, spectators are transported back and forth two nights in a row by a special lineup of three carriages, as promised, door-to-door delivery. The meeting place is Vilnius train station, 15 minutes away and the last stop is Dūmų fabrikas, Naujoji Vilnia.

This year, not only the transport of the festival guests changed, but also the style. Generally, the Fashion Infection spectator dress code is a matter of personal honor for each stylist, this year one rule applies to everyone without exception: a protective mask is mandatory! Lipsticks are removed, but the eyes can be illuminated so that even the mother does not recognize them. An ideal opportunity to manifest for an inner artist.
“Fashion Infection” is voting for life: the old factory workshop will work to the rhythm of fashion for two nights in a row: the public will have a two-part event with a break and an intense pace. There will be a place to draw attention: if Lithuania is statistically dominated by women, this year, at least on the podium, the designers promise a clear predominance of the male gender.
“Last year we promised that in 2020 the magic of the numbers of the XXII festival will be unexpected. Of course, we did not expect to fall into the obstacle course ourselves, ”said the festival’s driving force, designer Sandra Straukaitė.

But the limited opportunities have opened up new alternatives. To all those who have traditionally asked “What’s new?”, I replied that the most important thing is that we have a complete program and two days of quality fashion. All the guests will come to the festival, which is the last chance for designers to show their collections live this year. From the Lithuanian workshop, I intend to see not only the old, but also the energetic newcomers, ”added Sandra Straukaitė.
The guests of “Fashion Infection” and their poses on the photo wall, like every year, this time too, is one of the most anticipated parts of the festival. And this time there was no shortage of famous faces among the guests, including the singer Marijonas Mikutavičius and the designer Ieva Daugirdaitė. Eve has repeatedly presented her creations at this fashion festival. It is true that this year, not among the “Fashion Infection” participants, but among the guests, she was interested in what her colleagues created.
