The latter were right. According to the response of the municipality, these days a promotional video will be filmed in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
“The Municipality of Vilnius City has allowed the closed stock company as of October 14. 6 pm until October 15. 8 pm filming a Christmas promotional video in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. At present, the joint-stock company has started preparatory work for the installation of decorations. During filming, vehicular traffic near the filming location will be prohibited for a short time (up to 5 minutes) ”, says the answer.
Usually, the Christmas trees in the capital are lit in the last days of November or the first days of December. Last year the main Christmas tree of the city was lit and on November 28 the Christmas village began to function and on the 30th in the City Hall.
