After meeting each other as children, on the first-class bench, and becoming good friends, the three young men later graduated from the Lithuanian Police School and now find themselves not only in their spare time, but also in challenging service.
Daumantas Miniauskas, Lukas Paliūnas and Ignas Balčiūnas are three main patrols working in the Šiauliai County Police, which began their service two years ago on August 17. It is already clear that they are united not only because of this date, but also because of the friendship born in deep childhood and the common desire to serve Lithuania.
It is true that the vision of service in the police appeared in the heads of the boys at different times: Ignas says he has admired the profession of civil servant since he was a child, Luke also admits that for the year – in the 11th grade.
Therefore, after graduating from school and determined to fulfill their common ambition, the trio of young men left their native homes in Kuršėnai and went to study. Although they did not join the same platoon at police school, according to Luke, this did not change their communication: The boys became friends in the room, so they continued to have a great relationship and encouraged each other to keep going, according to the statement. press.
Finally, after successfully completing their studies and finally having diplomas in their hands, the three friends returned to work in their homeland: they joined the ranks of the Šiauliai County Police Officers.
Now Daumantas, Lukas and Ignas are not only good friends, but also useful colleagues. And if only they could, the trio would spend time together much more often. However, it is necessary to guarantee public safety 24 hours a day, so that the working hours of officials are quite tight and less compatible with each other.
Ignas ensures that they spend their free time together, whenever the holidays coincide, although this happens very rarely, and Daumantas adds that he even manages to travel together somewhere.
However, even seeing them much less often than when they studied together, the boys do not discount their long friendships and appreciate them more and more over the years. Luke emphasizes that although they meet less often, trust in each other has not disappeared throughout the year of friendship, and if necessary, they can always turn to friends for help, because they know that they will always help.
In everyday life, the trio, like other policemen, are faced with uncertainty at the beginning of their service about what could happen, what unpredictable call they will have to make, what people they will face. This uncertainty can be a bit intimidating, but no one would deny it: it always excites, creates curiosity, and encourages preparing for unexpected situations.
When asked what they think is the most difficult in the service and what causes the best emotions, the three officials first emphasize that everything happens at work, you have to experience a lot of negative emotions, deal with the most unexpected tests, communicate with different people.
Yet all three unanimously agree: the best emotions that redeem all tense moments are caused by people’s smiles and a sincere THANK YOU from the person you’ve just given much-needed help.
