A Police Department spokeswoman, Revita Janavičiūtė, informed BNS on Monday that in eight cases people did not wear masks in supermarkets, four in public transport and one in a cafe and gas station.

Violations of the wearing of masks were recorded in Vilnius, Jonava, Klaipėda, Skuodas, Šilalė and Rokiškis.

In six cases, half of the minimum fine was € 250, three were fined € 500 and five were not fined.

Last week 53 self-isolation violations were also identified. 38 protocols were drawn up by the police, the rest by the State Border Guard.
