During the interview, the woman, who was recognized as a victim, said she met Darius K. two weeks ago, after which she virtually communicated for a time until she finally decided to meet. However, the first meetings showed that a man and a woman who met are very different; According to the victim, her new friend was angry because she was eating meat.
The meat conflict also arose the day the woman went to the police for help. She said that that day Darius K. offered to meet her and drive around Kaunas in his car.
“He came in my car to my house, then we left, and when I asked him where we were going, he said he was at his mother’s house,” the victim said. – When we went to her apartment, it was already dark – we closed the room. Then Darius K. corresponded with someone on the phone, and then, for no reason, he went back to talking about meat, and then he got out of bed and grabbed my hair. The woman claimed there was a state of shock at the time; after all, the violence at Darius K.’s mother’s home lasted for about an hour.
“When he hit me, there was a deathly silence in the house, I still feel the consequences of this violence, sometimes I have tears in my ears, I feel pain, I suffer from depression and insomnia, I have to take sedatives,” the victim told the court.
At the time, her sister told authorities that she was very surprised to receive an unexpected message after midnight: “She wrote that as soon as she was alive, she barely killed, suffocated and told her to renounce God.”

The victim’s father spoke similarly.
