The idea of giving such an evaluation to D. Tramp in our Seimas is no longer new. Already last year, the parliamentarian Petras Gražulis drew up a draft resolution of this type. You are now resubmitting the project. And since the election was on the nose, the idea was signed by 11 companions of P. Gražulis (none signed last year).

For Tramp, the Nobel Peace Prize, according to Seimas, depends on many things. First, because of the “sincere long-term historical ties between the people of Lithuania and the United States.” Also because the United States is the most important partner in ensuring the peace, security, stability and prosperity of Lithuania and the Baltic States. The efforts of Tramp, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, their important role in achieving an agreement between Serbia and Kosovo, the efforts of the president of the United States are supposed to address security problems in the Middle East, Iraq, Afghanistan , Syria and the Korean Peninsula.

Twice as many parliamentarians (6) are tableting a draft resolution on the poisoning of Alexei Navaln and the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.

According to the Seimas, the poisoning of Navaln with a toxic paralyzing chemical developed in Russian laboratories, which is prohibited by international treaties, has made it very clear that the Kremlin is not prepared to change its aggressive and cynical behavior towards the political opposition. And for some reason it is related to the pipeline.

“The Navaln poisoning reminds us once again of the need to stop the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline,” said our politician, and “calls on the Federal Republic of Germany to abandon the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline project.”

Similarly, Seimas would like to see a resolution passed on “Threats to European nuclear security in Belarus”. Stresses the need to halt preparations for the Astrava nuclear power plant due to daily violence against peaceful protesters and other members of the public, irresponsible development of nuclear energy Maintenance work.

Another resolution was drafted by the leaders of the conservatives and “social workers” Gabriel Landsberg and Gediminas Kirkilas.
