Wednesday, around 7 pm 22 minutes ago, in Klaipėda, in the apartment, the body of a dead baby (born in 2020) was found without external signs of violence.
Klaipeda police said police did not know the boy’s parents. According to the police, the information or there are more underage children in the family, officials do not have.
Greta Bliutaitė, Chief Specialist of the Klaipėda Child Rights Protection and Adoption Service, says they did not know the family.
“The child was found without external signs of violence, but experts will later provide precise conclusions. Family service was not known to be problematic. They were contacted for the first time,” says G. Bliutaitė.
The specialist revealed that the family had no more children.
A pre-trial investigation was launched to determine the cause of death.
