Called the stage breaker, the artist obviously deserved these nicknames not for nothing. Just before the weekend, during the concert, the singer accidentally jumped on the microphone stand and cut his forehead on it. V. Bareikis probably would have suffered a sudden onset of pain and stayed on stage, but due to blood from the wound, he ran behind the scenes.

Even if the listeners noticed that the singer had briefly disappeared from the podium, only the most observant could understand what happened. True, even the musician in such a disaster did not bother and did not stop singing: he successfully completed the piece behind the scenes. At the same time, his colleagues took care of his swollen forehead.

“My concerts are very active, I go through all the constructions and get on the roofs. There was also a lot of impact on stage, strakal and yesterday, during the concert, there was a failed landing on the microphone. If I told you more clearly what happened, I got on like a rake, but it was a microphone. ” Delphi said the interlocutor and continued.

“The funniest thing was that everything happened at the beginning of the concert, it was only the second song. I got that blow to the head. I felt it was very strong. Right next to that moment was Mantas Bendžius, my backing vocalist, we have already worked well with him on stage. When that happened, I immediately looked at him and said, “Is he cutting himself?” And he couldn’t even answer anything, I could tell from his eyes that there was nothing good. It was at that moment that I felt a stream of blood run all over my head. Then the most interesting part began.

Nobody stopped anything. I ran behind the scenes with a microphone, found a towel there, held it against my forehead with one hand, and sang with the other. The concert continued. It took a couple more minutes before I stopped the bleeding with a towel, and management ran over and quickly found the paper, duct tape, and bandaged the wound. I was ready to run on stage again, but I looked in the mirror and realized that the image would not. He didn’t want to spoil people’s mood or disturb them in any way, and he didn’t want to interrupt the concert because of it.

Finally, my manager says, “I have a hat!” I put it on quickly. Since that piercing was very close to the eyebrow, I had to perform with that hat to the end. Apparently it turned out to be a bit strange in style because it was lowered to the eye. But I didn’t say anything to anyone. I went back on stage, at that time I was still joking that here, the last open air concert, autumn is coming and my head still freezes. Everyone laughed and no one understood what really happened.

I only told the big secret at the end of the concert, but I didn’t show anything about it either. I left it all with a laugh. But it really was one of the most interesting moments on stage, and everything happens on it. Thank God everything ended well, there was no need to sew and the wound is already healed today. In other words, the closing of the summer season was an outbreak in the literal sense of the word ”, the musician did not lose optimism.

It is no secret that V. Bareikis is a performer whose performances are one of the strongest and most energetic in Lithuania. The singer not only manages the audience perfectly, but also generates a lot of energy around him, which the participants of the concert shared on Friday night.

The event, as usual, was not missed by the beloved television host of the singer Indrė Stonkuvienė, who sat and supported her best friend in the front row. The Masloboyev family also enjoyed live music at the concert.

The super hits of the 2019 MAMA artist, who took to the horizon and gained fame – “On the Wave”, “Nerves”, “Half an Hour”, “Look at Me, Mom”, “At the Bottom of the Lake” and many others, became a strong guarantee that this V The Bareikis concert became one of the most impressive.

According to the musician, no one can change live concerts, so V. Bareikis was very happy to reconnect with his listeners.
