The Athletic’s Jared Weiss reports that Gordon Hayward, who has healed from an ankle injury, may appear on the floor in Game 3 of the series.
Hayward was already feeling fine in Wednesday’s training session, but on Friday he will work harder on the floor and then a final decision will be made on his chances of playing. According to Weiss, the Celtics forward is likely ready.
Hayward injured his ankle in the first game of the first playoff round with the Philadelphia 76ers, when he landed on teammate Daniel Theis’ leg late in the game.
In the regular season, Hayward’s stats were 17.4 points, 6.6 balls and 4.1 assists.
Game 3 of the Heat and Celtics series will take place Saturday night through Sunday at 3 pm 30 minutes. Lithuanian time.
