Residents who want to install or buy solar power plants will be able to apply for support starting next week. At the same time, an invitation to replace the old heating boilers will start.

“This is the third call for solar power plants. We have created permanent opportunities for residents to receive compensation for the purchase of solar power plants,” Energy Minister Žygimantas Vaičiūnas says in the report.

Support will be provided both for solar power plants with inverter (converter) and separately for solar cells. Support is provided for the purchase of a power plant up to 10 kW. Residents can also purchase a higher capacity power plant, but funding will be provided for 10 kW.
