Kaunas “Žalgiris” team failed to reach the first season trophy. In the Euroleague club friendly tournament, the hosts 70:88 (13:23, 10:23, 27:17, 20:25) did not face AX Armani in Milan.
In the Kaunas tournament, third place went to Panathinaikos from Athens, fourth place went to ALBA from Berlin.
Žalgiris started the match with 5 points in a row and AX Armani responded with four. Although “Žalgiris” discovered the long shots, the rivals did not give up and maintained their lead – 57:36. Artūras Milaknis and Thomas Walkup collected the necessary points, Rokas Jokubaitis added another three points, but in the final result the difference remained solid.
