On Saturday the four-team Euroleague tournament started in Kaunas, in which the significantly renewed Kaunas Žalgiris team competed with the Athens Panathinaikos team in the semi-finals.
All matches were led by Žalgiris 81:74 (23:17, 20:21, 16:16, 22:20) defeated Panathinaikos and on Sunday in the final of the tournament from 7:00 p.m. will meet with the Milan AX Armani team.

After two quarters in “Žalgiris”, R. Jokuibaitis was the most productive, scoring 10 points in almost 8 minutes. Grigonis, who played 14 minutes, scored 9 points and Jouffrey Lauvergne scored 8 points in 10 minutes.
After a long break, the match stabilized and “Žalgiris” consistently held a solid lead.
