In Russia, friendly matches were played by clubs led by Lithuanian coaches, and the victory was enjoyed by Chimki from the Moscow region, coached by Rimas Kurtinaitis.
Euroleague club only after a tenacious fight 93:90 (18:21, 31:34, 21:22, 23:13) broke the Permian Parma led by Kazys Maksvytis.
After three quarters, Maksvytis’s army still had a 7-point lead (77:70), but they couldn’t save it, and Chimki’s victory was determined by Sergei Monia’s three points.
Devin Booker played fantastically among the winners, scoring 29 points, 21 plus Janis Timma (7 res.), 18 – Jonas Jerebko, 10 – Dairis Bertanis.
Robert Johnson scored 24 points, Nikolajs Žmako – 18, Boris Savovičius – 11 points for the Parma club.
No statistics are provided for the Lithuanians from Parma, Adas Juškevičius and Eigirdas Žukauskas.
