According to German experts, FST or GRU employees are involved in the attempt to kill Alexei Navalna on August 20. It is believed that they poisoned the tea or smeared a cup of poison from which the opposition drank the beverage. Previously, it was established that A. Navalnas was having tea at the Vienna Café at Tomsk airport before the flight.
Saved by chance and the professional work of those around us
According to experts interviewed by the newspaper, A. Navalnas had to die during the flight. However, the chain of events ruined the original plan: during the flight, those sitting near Navaln quickly realized that something was wrong with him and caught the attention of the flight crew, the captain of the aircraft. immediately decided to land it in Omsk.
The airport dispatcher granted said permission, although it was at that moment that someone falsely reported the explosive on board; people on the plane were able to keep A. Navalna conscious until landing, and the ambulance medics instantly determined where to start treatment and injected him with antidotes (atropine).
Specialists from the Bundeswehr Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology have discovered that the latest modification of Novičiok, which is even more deadly and dangerous than previous ones, was used to poison Navaln, according to Die Zeit. Scientists found residues of this substance in A. Navalnas’ own hands, as well as in a plastic bottle from which he drank water from his neck.
According to the newspaper, the German authorities no longer doubt that the Russian specification. services that receive requests from the Kremlin. The use of such a dangerous and difficult to manufacture chemical weapon is only possible with specifications. German experts are convinced of the possibilities of the services. The very fact that the latest two-component Novičiok amendment has been used makes it possible to reject the version of the murder ordered by the oligarchs. This chemical weapon can only be manufactured by a special military laboratory.
German experts have also rejected a theory in Russia that the Navaln poisoning operation is a provocation by foreign intelligence. This version was also raised by the president of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin. According to German experts, foreign intelligence agents could hardly have approached Navaln without the FST noticing, knowing what kind of total surveillance network the Kremlin had developed against the opposition.
All this allows us to draw a single logical conclusion: it is the Kremlin that has ordered to get rid of an uncomfortable critic, writes Die Zeit.
The opinions of the chemical weapons developers were different.
Leonid Rink, one of the creators of Novičiok, explained to RIA Novosti that Die Zeit’s expert opinion “could not be true”. Absolute nonsense. Of course, I know all the variants of “Novičiok”. However, this statement has nothing to do with the mechanism of action, with how the symptoms should appear. They are not here. As long as you explode what you want to say, there are no symptoms. Nothing can be done. There is no death, (so) forget about “Noviciok,” explained one of the developers of the chemical weapon to the Russian state news agency.
According to L. Rink’s own testimony in one of Novičiok’s material poisoning cases, he worked for several decades in a military laboratory, where, under the control of spec. services, produced by Novičiok. In 1994 he sold, according to himself, this chemical weapon for 1.5 thousand. dollars to individuals who later used them to assassinate banker Ivan Kivelidis. He participated in the case as a “witness” to the developer of the chemical weapon, and received no punishment for the proliferation of the chemical weapon. Small, spec. The services do not interfere in any way with your extensive media communication and open accounts of undercover investigations, even though 20 years have passed.
Another former Novičiok creator, Vilas Mirzajanov, who emigrated to the United States at the end of the last century, does not rule out the possibility that this chemical weapon was used against Navalna, and that the murder was ordered by the Russian authorities.
“The same material may not have been used against him that was used against Skripalis.” Novičiokai “has many modifications, they can crystallize, so they are absorbed even faster. Sometimes it is an almost solid substance. If you enter the gastrointestinal tract, there will be no danger to other people. If applied to a surface, as in the case of Skripaliai, it clearly poses a threat to those around it, and any contact with such a surface could result in poisoning, “he told” American Voice. “.
The expert noted that Novičiok can only be produced in Russia, at the State Research Institute of Organic Chemistry. This requires highly qualified personnel who are capable of synthesizing this material. “It just came to our attention then. <...> By synthesizing it elsewhere, one can also commit suicide. <...> I have no doubt that this material was created in Russia, ”explained the former Novičiok creator, adding that there are about 20 modifications of this chemical weapon in total.
He also believes that the atropine injected by Omsk doctors into A. Navalna “substantially helped save Navalna.” According to him, the chemists who created Novičiok always had blisters nearby, a substance that is ten times stronger than atropine.
The Russian authorities continue to vehemently deny the poisoning of Navaln itself. Representatives of the Omsk hospital, to which A. Navalnas was transferred from the airport, stated on August 21 that there were no poisons in the opposition body.
The Russian prosecutor’s office also “found” that there were no signs of Navaln poisoning.
At the Charite Clinic in Berlin, to which Navaln’s relatives sent a severely poisoned man, the opposition was immediately found to be poisoned. Even several laboratories, including the German army, have found traces of Novičiok on his body.
On Thursday it was announced that Alexei Navaln had regained consciousness and was able to interact with those who visited him after German doctors stopped the artificial coma.
