Pasvalys district two men broke into a house and robbed its hosts: the victims were not left alone

The prosecutor’s office reported that two residents of the Panevėžys and Pasvalys districts would soon be sitting on the bench. They are accused this year, on the night of February 17, of breaking into a residential house of acquaintances in the Pasvalys district.

According to the pre-trial investigation, the defendants threatened the neighbors of the house, raped them violently and sprayed gas in their eyes. The intruders behaved bravely, as one of them lived in this house, sheltered from the hosts, for some time.

The robbers seized money, various items, food, an electronic bank payment card, and even empty plastic bottles. When the landlady managed to escape from her home, she ran to the nearby neighbors for help. When the police arrived, the thieves had already escaped.

After 2 days, the defendant appeared a second time at the home of the victims. They again broke into the house and, with intimidation and violence, demanded that the statement to the police be withdrawn, in order to give false testimony.

Both individuals are charged with theft, illegal removal of an electronic payment card, impact on the victim, and illegal violation of the integrity of a person’s home. They are awaiting trial while in detention.

The most severe punishment is robbery for breaking into a home: up to 7 years in prison.

The pre-trial investigation in this case was led by officers from the Criminal Police Property Crimes Investigation Board of the Panevėžys County Police Chief Police Station, and they were led by the District Attorney’s Office. by Panevėžys, Lina Lomonienė.

The case was transferred to the Pasvalys Palace of the Panevėžys District Court.
