The Los Angeles Lakers played a great deciding quarter and went ahead 2-1 in the semifinals of the Western Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA) with the Houston Rockets.

The Lakers Club, led by LeBron James, Anthony Davis and District Rondo 112: 102 (32:33, 29:31, 21:18, 30:20) broke the Rockets resistance.
Before the last quarter, the result was a tie (82:82), and after Russell Westbrook’s triple, the Rockets regained a slight advantage for a short time (85:84), but then the Lakers took the decisive advantage.

Rondo, who played only the third game after the injury, was solid not only in the fourth quarter. The defender played the second game of the performance this season and scored 21 points (5/6 dvit., 3/5 trit., 2/2 penalties) in 30 minutes and had 9 assists.
“I just took what they gave me,” Rondo said modestly. “The men found me, they threw some shots and they gained confidence in my strength.”
The Rockets did not save the Westbrook-James Harden tandem from their second series failure, scoring 63 points together.
Harden spent 38 minutes on the court and was close to a triple-double: 33 points (7/14 double, 4/9 trit., 7/7 penalty), 9 rebounds and 9 assists.
Westbrook, who rehabbed after the last failed game, scored 30 points in 36 minutes (11/20 double, 2/4 trit., 2/2 penalty), bounced 8 balls and had 6 assists.
“We lost too 50 in 50 balls. We weren’t fast enough and lost a lot of balls as a result. The Lakers also hit a lot of hard shots. “They caught us today, we’ll see what we can offer in Game 4,” Rockets helmsman Mike D’Antoni expected.
