Mindaugas Kraulaidis, representative of the Traffic Information Department of the Lithuanian Highway Administration, informed BNS that after the accident there was a traffic jam, the traffic is regulated by the police.

“It just came to our attention then. The man (smart driver) was still alive but unconscious. He was bleeding profusely. We couldn’t help anyone,” Evaldas said.

“About 40 minutes after the incident, we saw rescuers running. They drove from the Prienai side. We were still wondering if Aukštadvaris didn’t have a rescue team, because it was closer. Police and ambulance we didn’t see. It’s a shame”, said the reader.
