According to the accusers, the father Virginijus Tautrimas put his hand on the baby’s head so that it would not cry. After the accident, the Šilutė resident detained at the apartment is said to have been completely drunk. Then he inflated the alcohol meter to 3 per thousand.
But in court the defendant’s guilt was shaken.
“My biggest mistake was that when I brought the baby in and pulled him out of the stroller on the chalk, he was not asleep. And then it fell off, “he said.
“I went to the kitchen to make the food, I left the child and before putting it on the chalk, the child fell out of bed. Meanwhile, he was in the kitchen. And the testimony says that she gave the child food, she ran out and left the child to me. The expert’s report showed that the child was not fed, the autopsy shows that the stomach was empty. Everything is a lie ”, assured the man.

But he says he’s half as tired of what the prosecutors say. The man assures that this is his fourth child, whom he loved very much and never had problems with the guardians of the rights of the child.
“The first act of the accused was the wife’s testimony that I was not abusive in the family, it was good, that I loved the child, I took care of him. And in the second act, my drunkenness had already changed and it had been violent in my family, which had not really happened before, ”he explained.
Prosecutors say there is sufficient data on the guilt of Šilutė residents. He has already been convicted several times.
“There was also domestic violence, as she had repeatedly informed the victim that she had been abused,” the prosecutor said.
Because the crime is very serious, the defendant faces up to 20 years in prison for killing his son. At the next court hearing, promising to also question the baby’s mother, he asks to be sentenced to 20,000. for moral damage.
