Vilnius “Rytas” got the second victory in preparation for the season. This time Donald Kairis’s students 89:77 defeated the Kamianski Prometey club of Ukraine.
Mindaugas Girdžiūnas (2/3 trit.) Scored 14 points for the Vilnius team, Martynas Echodas (12 rebounds) added 12 points, Augustas Marčiulionis scored 10 points (3/4 doubles).
Dovis Bičkauskis scored 9 points, captain Arnas Butkevičius scored 7 points.
In the first match, “Rytas” defeated Kėdainiai “Nevėžis” 92:74.
Vilnius residents must continue to work without their legionaries, who have not yet joined the team.

Before that, this Ukrainian team defeated Kaunas “Žalgiris-2” 90:83, 99:77 faced “Šiauliai”, also in the first match 77:68 broke the “Neptune” of Klaipeda, and in the second match Klaipeda’s team lost 76:80.
All of these matches were broadcast live by Prometey on his YouTube account, but the Vilnius club did not want their match to be shown publicly.
“Unfortunately, we have to inform you that you will not be able to watch the match with Rytas directly, because Rytas asked us not to broadcast the meeting live. We are sorry,” Vladimir Dubinski, president of Prometey, said on the website of the Ukrainian team before the match.
