Yesterday morning, the body of a young woman with external signs of violence was found on a road in the Šilalė district. A large force of officials is investigating the incident.

The Lithuanian Police Department announced that yesterday at 6 p.m. On the Mažeikiai – Plungė – Tauragė highway at kilometer 91, on the bridge over the Aitra river, the body of a 37-year-old woman was found. Signs of strangulation were observed on the woman’s body.

– A large force of officials is working at the site yesterday and today. So are cynologists.
