Kaunas “Žalgiris”, who has fought in the “Gloria Cup” tournament in Turkey for the past three years, will not play in this friendly competition this time.

The tournament organizers announced eight competition teams, among which Žalgiris did not appear.
In the first group, Rimas Kurtinaitis will play Chimki in the Moscow region, Galatasaray in Istanbul, Tofaš in Bursa and Anadolu Efes in Istanbul.
In the second group, Edgar Ulanov will be represented by Fenerbahche from Istanbul, Turk Telekom from Ankara, Crvena Zvezda from Belgrade and Pinar Karšiyaka from Izmir.
The match will take place from September 8 to 13.
From September 12-13, the people of Žalgiris will compete in the EuroLeague We’re Back Pre-Season Tour in Kaunas, where the AX Armani Exchange in Milan, Panathinaikos in Athens and Anadolu Efes in Istanbul will also compete.
The Anadolu Efes team, led by Ergin Ataman, is included in both the Glory Cup and the Žalgiris Arena tournament.
The Euroleague season will start on October 1.
