Arūnas Brazauskas was born on January 2, 1966 in Vilkaviškis in the family of Jonas and Magdalena Brazauskas. He grew up with his sister Vilma, brothers Jonas, and Žydrūnas.

He then studied for four years at the Faculty of Theology in central Italy in Florence and lived at the Fiesole Convention.
