An employee who worked at the Panevėžys Maxima XX store last visited his work on August 1. That day, when she learned that another employee at the same store had been diagnosed with COVID-19, she and seven other employees who may have been in contact with the patient were released to the home for self-isolation. These workers were tested for the corona virus. Seven employees in self-isolation had negative results and these employees had positive results.

According to E. Dapkienė, on August 5, after receiving information that COVID-19 was established for another in Panevėžys, Klaipėdos str. 92, who are Maxima XX employees, the currently self-isolating employee was found to only have contact with the same employees who are currently in self-isolation.

A positive COVID-19 test result was also found today in Kaunas, V. Krėvės ave. 14B, located at Maxima XX. Previously, he had close contact with his family member, Kaunas, Pramonės ave. 29, employee of the Maxima XXX operational store, for whom the coronavirus was confirmed on August 2. Maximos XX, V. To date, 486 Maxima employees have been tested for coronavirus: 457 tests were negative and 16 tests were positive. Seven workers have already recovered. Isolated due to contact with COVID-19 – nine. Thirteen employee test responses are currently pending, four of which are recorded for prophylactic purposes when municipalities organize preventive tests.
