The great basketball player returns to the arena “Žalgiris”. The Euroleague has announced that the EuroLeague four-team preseason tournament will take place in Kaunas from September 12-13.

Euroleague A-licensed teams will compete in the EuroLeague We’re Back Preseason Tour at Žalgiris Arena: Kaunas Žalgiris, Milan AX Armani Exchange, Athens Panathinaikos and Istanbul Anadolu Efes.
Two semi-final matches will be played on Saturday, September 12 and September 13. There will be a match for third place and a final of the tournament. In the near future, it will become clear which specific pairs will compete in the semifinals.
It is planned to start selling tickets for the tournament when the exact requirements and recommendations regarding the COVID-19 situation in Lithuania are clarified.
The Euroleague has also announced another preseason tournament from September 15-16. will take place in Valencia. In addition to the host team match, the Munich Bayern, Piraeus Olympiacos and Vilerbana ASVEL teams will also play.
The official Euroleague season will start on October 1. The first three games of the season will be played by the people of Žalgiris, so the We’re Back Preseason Tour of the Euroleague will be a great opportunity for fans of the Lithuanian champions to see the high-level competitors and get acquainted with the renewed composition of Žalgiris.
