United States President Donald Trump said the government should receive a “significant percentage” of the proceeds from the sale of the US division of TikTok to Microsoft.
Trump told reporters that the United States would allow a Chinese-owned video program to be sold, so it deserves a share of the revenue, either from China or Microsoft.
The president of the United States said he informed the Microsoft executive about it during an interview over the weekend.
He also warned that on September 15. It will ban a program owned by China’s ByteDance in the absence of a deal.
