NASA’s Martian on his way to the planet: search for life

A rocket carrying a wonder of technology, the NASA-designed Perserverence, was launched into the sky from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Translated into Lithuanian, “perseverance” means “perseverance”.

This is the space flight of the year, as the most powerful Martian of all time descends on an astrobiological mission on the Red Planet.

The Perseverence is a small SUV that weighs just over a ton. It has 19 video cameras and two microphones, which scientists hope will allow you to record the sounds of Mars for the first time.

But the main objective of a Martian is to search for any form of life on Mars.

“Mars was very similar to Earth and we already know that it had the conditions for life. So we are sure that the planet was habitable, but was it inhabited? That’s what we want to know, “said NASA spokesman Jim Bridenstine.

Perseverance makes history not only because it is one of NASA’s most ambitious missions in 50 years, but also because this march is equipped with a helicopter that weighs almost 2 kilograms.

Once the machine lands on Mars, NASA scientists will search for a suitable place to launch it. The Martian will activate the helicopter, which for the first time in history will attempt to make a flight on another planet. If Perseverence’s journey is successful, it will reach Mars in 7 months on February 18, 2021.
