In the coming months, until November 1 of this year. – inspection centers have time to prepare for changes and, most importantly, to calculate costs.
After November 1. The inspection centers must provide all financial data to the LTSA, which will establish the inspection prices in accordance with the formulas of the approved Methodology.
“As this Methodology was being developed for the first time, we invited the public and all interested parties to send comments and suggestions. The discussions, which lasted a couple of months, came to an end, and today the methodology to establish the maximum prices for the Mandatory Vehicle Inspection was approved.
The final technical inspection prices will become clear after November 1, so we cannot say exactly how the technical inspection price will change today, ”says Genius Lukošius, director of LTSA.
The objective of the Methodology developed for the first time in Lithuania is to determine the price of technical inspection that is transparent, based on costs and that guarantees the quality of the services required.
