On July 30, around 9.42 pm, a message was received that a person wanted to hurt himself in a village in the Jonava district, the old man from Šilai. After visiting police and medical officers, a drunk man (born 1997) with a severe degree of drunkenness (2.75 prom.) Explained that he did not need help, he wanted to make fun of him.

The lightning-fast officer and her colleague avoided injury. The man was arrested and detained, and a pre-trial investigation was launched. Immediately after the incident, managers who contacted the officers made sure that the officers were feeling well and that the psychological assistance offered was not necessary.
The investigation is organized and led by prosecutors from the Kaunas Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
